The DDC Model stands for the “Dedicated Development Center” Model. TEAM recognizes that the majority of companies who wish to outsource are in need of long-term compliments to their onshore personnel. The DDC Model answers this need by creating a dedicated remote staff to compliment your company’s domestic operations. This Model is tailored to the notion that there is a constant and projected ongoing need for core work to be performed, but it also has built-in flexibility to add and/or remove personnel as desired.
Strengths:
• Best-suited for companies with ongoing project needs due to its flexible and revolving workflow
• Informal process to allow for Change Requests to a Project Plan as needed since time to completion of project is a mutual endeavor
• Flat-rate per month for employees mimics the salary relationship between you and your domestic employees
• Employees are reserved to a project and develop attachment to their product over time
• Employees are reserved to their client and develop loyalty to their client over time
• Staff can ramp-up or ramp-down according to client’s projected needs, thus eliminating any long-term obligations

Weaknesses:
• Not suited for companies with large gaps between

projects; even if a company chooses to keep a staff on bench, motivation of employees can diminish with lack of work
• Flat-rate per month continues even if workload goes down (unless you choose to reduce your team size)
