May 03, 2010 - TEAM International gives back! iSolstice launched for the iPad, iPod & iPhone.

TEAM International donated the technical resources and worked in collaboration with Santa Barbara’s Summer Solstice Celebration in creating an app supporting their annual Summer Solstice Parade. TEAM’s development team built the app to run on Apple’s new iPad, the iPhone and iPod.

Summer Solstice Parade began in 1974, as a birthday celebration for a popular artist and mime named Michael Gonzales. The Parade is the largest, single-day arts event in Santa Barbara County, drawing crowds of over 100,000 spectators from around the world.

The iSolstice application creates a virtual tour of the celebrations’ past and present by displaying pictures, videos and theme posters. It also allows celebration enthusiasts to navigate to the Solstice Parade website to purchase t-shirts and posters, check the festival schedule, view upcoming events, and much more.

iSolstice is a helpful tool for local participants, returning guests and those contemplating visiting the event. iSolstice is available at iTunes Store free of charge. Click here to download the application.
