May 22, 2008 - Ukraine Included in Gartner’s List of TOP 30 Countries for Offshore Services.

TEAM International proudly announces that Ukraine has been named by Gartner among the countries with enhanced offshore service credentials.

According to Gartner, Inc., the leading information technology research and advisory group, India remains as the undisputed leader in offshore services, although many organizations choosing to move their services to low-cost countries refocus on Latin America, Asia Pacific and Eastern Europe. Gartner predicts that in 2008 offshore spending will grow 60 percent in Europe and 40 percent in the United States.

Gartner identified 30 countries that have the potential to effectively host outsourced operations. Ukraine is named among other 29 countries as a credible IT outsourcing alternative. The list of Top 30 countries was generated based on the following criteria: language, government support, talent pool, infrastructure, educational system, cost, political and economic environment, cultural compatibility, global and legal maturity, and data and intellectual property security and privacy. According to Ian Marriott, Gartner’s Research Vice President, the selected 30 countries ‘demonstrated their suitability to develop or enhance their offshore service credentials’.
